Suz Somersall is a jewelry designer from New Orleans.  She studied at Brown University and then the Rhode Island School of Design.  She travels the world soaking up culture and those experiences influence her designs.  

Unless you have been living under a rock for the last year, I'm sure you're heard of Twine & Twig ;)  These Southern made necklaces are sweeping the country.  I found them on Instagram right when the line launched.  I remember they were being sold in Charleston, and I was very tempted to get in the car and drive up there!

I love clothes.  LOVE THEM.  In high school, I went through a phase where I loved them so much I tried to make my own.  It ended disastrously when a fleece dress I made broke apart in the middle of campus.  That ended my days as a fashion designer.  Now I just shop, covet, long for, and adore clothes.  I'm one of those people who starts thinking about what they are going to wear when they wake up and then rethink it at least 50 times before they walk out the door.  

That being said, I do not claim to have any particular talent for dressing.  There are high days and low days.  I can't tell you the number of times I think I look amazing and my closest friends look at me and ask, "what are you WEARING?"  

Last night Jimmy came home, walked straight into my office, and said, "Why haven't you put our Christmas decorations on your blog yet?"

On Saturday we began unpacking everything.  Christmas is my favorite time of year because its so wonderful to go back through all the memories!  We get ornaments everywhere we travel, and unpacking them is always a treat!
